We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us make the Software Engineering (SE) conference of the German Informatics Society (GI) a unique experience for all participants. Working as a Student Volunteer at SE 2025 is an excellent opportunity to interact with leading academic and industrial researchers and practitioners in the field of software engineering. As a Student Volunteer, you will also have the chance to meet other students interested in software engineering.

Requirements

Applicants must be undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral students in 2025.

We are looking for enthusiastic students with strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills who are reliable, punctual, and organized, and who take initiative.

Responsibilities

The skills, talents, and dedication of the Student Volunteers contribute to the overall quality of the conference. The role of the Student Volunteer includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

• Attending 2-3 sessions during the conference
• Providing technical support to speakers and participants
• Giving directions to various locations at the conference venue and associated events
• Assisting behind the scenes during the conference
• etc.
